A visit to Snehal Dyes Industries and Universal aromatic, Ankleshwar was organized by the department of chemical engineering for the 3 rd, 5 th & 7 th semester students. The purpose of the visit was to provide the basic knowledge to the students about the Dye manufacturing industries. Students were visited to the different sections of the plant were the different process for the manufacturing of beta blue dye was carried out.

Industrial Visit at The Dharamsi Morarji Chemical Co. Ltd., Dahej (DMCC) was organized by the Department of Chemical Engineering for the 4^th,& 6^th semester student on 24^th March, 2022. The Dharamsi Morarji Chemical Co. Ltd., (DMCC) headquartered in Mumbai, is an ISO 9001:2008 accredited organization. Established in 1919, DMCC was the first producer of Sulphuric Acid and Phosphate fertilizers in India. Today, DMCC is one of the leading chemical companies in India.

Industrial visit was carried out at Sumul Cattle Feed Factory, Bajipura on 23rd of December, 2020. The main objective behind the visit was to relate theoretical knowledge with practical one and to get clear idea about various industrial processes. Sumul Cattle Feed Factory situated at Bajipura at Po.Titva, Ta. Valod, Dist. Tapi. The factory was set up in 17th April 2017.
We were guided by Mr. Jay Patel. He delivered a short lecture about the process. The plant has a capacity of 1000 Metric tonne per day and their production rate can be expanded upto 1500 Metric tonne. They are collecting the raw material from different state like Punjab, Rajasthan etc. In which 24 storage bin with 12000 Metric tonne capacity to store raw material. Based on formula the selected raw material is sent to the premixer and then mixes it well in Batch mixer. After that add dry steam and molasses in the feed and then the material is send it to pelleting column. Here we get 8mm pellets, some material are rest in powder form it will be recycled back in pelleting column. The last stage is of packaging where bags of 60kgs are packed and dispatched.

Spectrum is one of the largest producers of Disperse Dyes in India. Having started its operation in the year 1991, Spectrum’s wide inventory of over 150 dyes, places it amongst one of the very few manufacturers catering to almost all commercially available Disperse Dyes. Disperse dyes are usually sold as powders, which are prepared by milling the press cake with an equal weight of a suitable auxiliary product and a little water, drying, and then mixing with diluents to give a product. Each color of disperse dyes require different raw material. Because the range of colours is very large each colour has its own manufacturing process.

Industrial visit was carried out at Kamrej Sugar Factory on 20th of December for 4^th, 6^th, 8^th semester students. The main objective behind the visit was to make the student aware how various activities and processes are carried out in the Industry. The students were guided by Mr. Yugandha. Cane sugar processing consists of the following steps: sugar cane is crushed, the juice is heated and filtered, then sent to a series of crystallisation steps to create crystals of raw sugar, followed by centrifugation to remove any remaining juice or syrup.

A visit to J K Lakshmi Cement PVT LTD, was organized by the department of chemical engineering for the 4^th, 6^th & 8^th semester students. The purpose of the visit was to provide the basic knowledge to the students about the Cement manufacturing industries. Students were visited to the different sections of the plant were the different process for the manufacturing of Cement was carried out.

Industrial visit was carried out at Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers Company Ltd. on 10th of August for pre-final and final year students. The main objective behind the visit was to make the student aware how various activities and processes are carried out in the company.

Shree Balaji Processors in GIDC, Ankleshwar is one of the top Dyeing Job Works in GIDC, Ankleshwar. The main objective behind the visit was to make the student aware about the dying operation occurring in various textile mills. 

Industrial visit was carried out at Sigma Glass Pvt.Ltd. on 9^th of February for 6^th semester students. The main objective behind the visit was to make the student aware how various activities and processes are carried out in the company. Sigma Glass is a manufacturer of glass equipment and is associated with hundreds of customers and suppliers.

Solvay Specialities India Pvt.Ltd. is a multinational company active in more than 60 countries, associated with thousands of customers and suppliers. Solvay Specialities India Private Limited (SSIPL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Solvay Group of Belgium established in 2005. The company manufactures polymers PESU (Polyethersulfone) and PEEK (Polyetheretherketone). 

A visit to Heranba industry limited, Vapi, was organized by the department of chemical engineering for final year students. The purpose of the visit was to provide the basic knowledge to the students about pesticides. Students visited production area, utilities area, laboratory and effluent treatment plant of the company gaining knowledge about various manufacturing processes used in the industry.

Company was established in 1992 with an objective of setting up a Precipitated Silica manufacturing unit. The company was founded by managing director Mr. Narendra Jinjala. The company has a large factory complex and well equipped R&D laboratory with sophisticated instruments at its ankleshwar plant. They are one of the leading Precipitated Silica manufacturing companies in Gujarat. 

Snehal Dye Industry is situated at GIDC dist. Ankleshwar State Gujarat. Mr. Mansukh Mohan Makani is the owner of this company. The company has wide area of about 2000 sq.ft .The company is manufacturer of dyes. They produce reactive blue dyes.  

ZANOO PLASTIC INDUSTRIES deals in plastics & products located at Ankleshwar.  Companies have years of expriences in this field and they are the best plastic and product proviers in india. The visit was organized for third and final year students of chemical engineering.

Gujarat Halogen Petrochem Corporation is manufacturer of acid chlorides. The production of acid chloride is done in glass line reactors. The chloracetyl chloride is used in agro pesticide products mainly. The major by-product, hydrochloric acid, is fully recovered and sold locally by them.

Unity dye chem. Pvt. Ltd. is situated at Khambhat dist. Anand State Gujarat. Mr.Mukeshbhaipatel is the owner of this company. This company manufactures the pigments.

They produce red, orange and yellow pigments. Pigment is a colour compound with ability of fixed on a other things like wall, plastic material. Pigment is used in making in paint, inks, crockery of plastic.

A visit to Lupin, Ankleshwar was organized for the 3^rd semester students. Lupin Pharmaceuticals, Inc. provides the advanced manufacturing capabilities and processes that create quality specialty and generic products. The main products of Lupin were generic, speciality, and API.
