The energy received from the sun by the earth is in the form of electromagnetic radiations. Then, this energy gets converted into various forms of renewable energy. On reaching the earth, some of the energy from the solar radiations: Is reflected back, Gets absorbed in the atmosphere, Reaches earth surface without any conversion, Is converted into wind energy and biomass energy, Is used in water evaporation, thus causing rain, and is available in the form of hydro energy.
