On 4th April 2024, a visit was organised for Civil and Computer Engineering students at “Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC)” at breadliner circle, Surat. The ICCC serves as a pioneering initiative aimed at enhancing the efficiency of urban services and improving the overall quality of life for residents. This visit provided an opportunity to gain firsthand insights into the innovative technologies and integrated approach adopted by the centre. The centre operates as a nerve centre for monitoring and managing various municipal services, including traffic management, emergency response, solid waste management, water supply, and public safety. The infrastructure includes a centralized control room equipped with advanced monitoring systems, communication networks, and data analytics tools.

View Detail ReportAfter visiting the ISRO, we were visited to BSNL at Ahmadabad. We reached there at 1:00 pm to BSNL. We were welcomed at there by MR.HIMANSHU SADHU the sub divisional engineer of BSNL. He also given us the introduction about the BSNL Company and the related courses that they also delivering to the engineering students. We are then dividing into three groups to visit the various labs of BSNL.
Then we had visited to network lab of BSNL and giving knowledge of networking of computer lab. After then we had visited at fiber optics lab and got some knowledge about fiber optics cable and its construction. We had also seen the India’s first ever telephone system had been installed under the guidance of Mr. RAJEEV GANDHI and the corresponding new system was also available at there.
In museum we had seen different type of telephone, telegram fax machine type writer and instrument related to older telephone. In tower lab they give knowledge about different signals, bandwidth and processing on the telephone network. There were several labs in BSNL which are listed below.
View Detail ReportWe are the students of Computer & Science department 5th semester Pacific school of engineering. Visited to the most popular satellite application center on 27th august ’14. The visit begins from 12 o’clock of 27thAug 2014.We all get together at Podar arcade in surat .There were four faculties with us for proper management of visit. And number of students are 51.
Firstly we reached ISRO at 8 o’clock and had a tea/snacks break at 8:30 am. After completing the breakfast at 9:00am we walked towards the entrance of ISRO. There we all were very excited to get entered into the company because there was a very strict and high security over the entrance. There is strict prohibition on capturing photograph in the campus of ISRO. There we met Dr.H.P.PANDYA(sci./er.) who us to VIKRAM HALL. After entering into the hall we were warmly welcomed by Dr.H.P.PANDYA.
There are two session in this visit
In first session, Dr.I.M.BAHUGUNA the senior scientist (Geologist) of ISRO Company given us a technical knowledge about the working of the satellite, electromagnetic spectrum, types of satellite launching vehicle, remote sensing, image processing, types of resolution, spectral signature, GIS, and etc. The seminar was completed at 12 pm and then after a small tea break was been organized by the ISRO for the student and faculty for refreshment.

The main objective behind the visit was to make students aware about various activities related to crime that are committed on the road and to improve management of vehicular traffic and it is also related to our subject Cyber Security.

BISAG, formerly known as Remote Sensing and Communication Centre (RESECO), has been renamed after the great Indian Mathematician of the 12th century, "Bhaskaracharya" BISAG is a State level nodal agency to facilitate the use of spatial and geo-spatial technologies for the planning and developmental activities pertaining to Agriculture, Land and Water Resource Management, Wasteland/Watershed Development, Forestry, Disaster Management, Infrastructure and Education. The Institute started its operations in April 1997 and was renamed as "Bhaskaracharya Institute for Space Applications and Geo-informatics" in December 2003.
On 1st Aug 2016 early in the morning at we started our industrial visit journey. Near about 113 students from semester 5th and 7th of computer science engineering with their respectful faculty from Surat to Gandhinagar at Bisag.
After the long way road trip form surat to ghandhinagar we reached to the Bisag, at 12 o’clock and we enter to the bisag for visiting the company.
At their we meet the bisag coordinator instructor who help us to know about the bisag work and the rule regulation of the company.
